It seems that Coke has turned into consumer generated ideas for its next big commercial. This video was released in the web couple of weeks ago inviting people to visit their Facebook page and upload personal audition videos showcasing their own unique interpretation of the ‘Sounds of Coca-Cola': opening a bottle/can, ice cubes clinking as they drop into a glass, the fizzing of the Coke as it bubbles after being poured, the “ahh” moment of refreshment... well, you get the idea.

The story behind the two guys you see in there is quite interesting. As fans of the brand, they created a Coca-Cola Facebook page just over a year ago and after having been able to attract millions of fans, the iconic brand started to work in tandem with them looking to reward its followers and allow for things like this to happen.
Love to see that brands value the effort of user generated ideas and are open to shift the system to make it work.
