Do You Flip?

When I heard Cisco was buying Pure Digital Technologies early in the year I was worried. Cisco has always been famous for their expertise developing and supporting complex technology, so I really did not figure how an easy to use device like the Flip Camera will fit within their portfolio. This of course led me to think the worse about their future plans around the cool Flip brand.

Well, I'm happy to see I was wrong.

I just saw on TV the latest holiday effort launched by Cisco to promote Flip, Do you flip?. It is a very provocative campaign that invites people to join what I can best describe as a "flip movement for the democratization of video."




I really like this campaign. It is short, personal and kind of silly in a cute way. Perhaps not very original considering the category but certainly as simple as the product/brand itself.
