Google recently launched a very useful new search feature that enables people to search and more easily discover millions of songs, all via a simple Google web search.
Let's say you want to find information regarding one particular song, artist or album you like. All you need to do is to "google it" and now your search results will include links to an audio preview of those songs - provided by either MySpace, iLike or Lala.
Or let's say that you don't know/remember the name of a song you heard, but its lyrics have been stuck in your head all day. Well, now you can just enter a line or two of the lyrics and voila, you get the song you were looking for.
And if that's not enough, they had also improved the ability to find new music by partnering with Pandora, Imeem and Rhapsody to include links to their sites where you can discover music related to your queries as well. See it all in this video:
This is just the beginning - a sort of Beta stage. Regardless, these partnerships makes us believe that Google is serious about making music search simpler and better.
