I'm obsessed with User Experience Design. That's why I like so much the above slide [I stole it from a presentation that Whitney Hess gave at the Pittsburgh Web Design Day about a year ago]. It truly simplifies what otherwise would be a quite complex concept.

You're right, it's a team responsability. Because it's all about experience, it's obvious that you need to challenge multiple experienceS. I don't believe in the unique specialist guru. Be participative, ask, question yourself and your ideas, collaborate, change your mind, brainstorm. Be a team leader around one UX culture but don't try to be a leader, you're just a user as anybody else.
